Links on Custom Menu – adding social icons
-
Hello, I am using the Illustratr them and trying to add social icons at the bottom of my pages. I have added a Social Menu and have added my Contact page to the menu, which appears nicely as a WordPress icon at the bottom on the page. I cannot see how to add the social media links to the menu, can anyone else with this?
On my menu page I can add Pages, Posts, Projects, Categories, Format, Project Types and Project Tags, but “Links” is not there.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello,
thanks, i’ve looked at that.it says:
“Set up the menu
Illustratr:
To automatically apply icons to your links, simply create a new custom menu. Next, add each of your social links to this menu. Each menu item should be added as a custom link.”I cannot see how to add the links.
I have read the instructions for custom links, it says
“Type in the URL where you want to take someone when they click on it, add Link Text to specify what the tab will say, and then click Add to Menu.”I cannot see where to type in the url!!!
I have already set up the custom menu, and added my Contact page to it which appears as a WordPress icon, so I know I’m half way there. I want more icons next to that WordPress one.
Please help!

Open the drop-down menu “Screen Options,” at the top right of your Menus page. Check the “Links” option, and any others you’d like to use that are presently missing.
