Links on Pages

  I have spent the last hour or more trying to get a URL to link to a page, unsuccessfully. Instructions I find say it works just as it does to a post. When I code in the URL without first publishing the content, I get a message saying I am leaving that page. When I publish the content first and try to edit and add in the link, when I okay it, I am bounded back to the posts page, with no opportunity to update to add the link info. What on earth am I doing wrong? :) Thanks

  Well, now I know that I am supposed to go to the “Write” panel. Now if someone would please oh PLEASE tell me how to find the “Write’ panel. I have been up most of the night trying to figure out how to add subpages and post info with links on them LOL

  Hi. On which page are you trying to insert a link?

  Also, switch to HTML mode and please copy and paste the entire code you tried to insert. For the purpose of these forums only, please insert the code between backticks ( ` ) (not apostrophes!) otherwise we won’t be able to see the code.

  Thanks, airodyssey. But… I DID IT!! Ten hours or more of googling, watching videos, tearing my hair out, etc… and I found a fantastic step-by-step video tutorial series on YouTube. You can bet I have it bookmarked!! :)
