Links Open In There Own Tab
-
I’ve noticed that, whenever I click a link on my blog, rather than opening up a new tab, it simply changes the current tab I’m on (my blog) to the link I clicked. Is there any way I can change the settings so that links get a new tab of their own? I’m sorry if this doesn’t make any sense…

How to set links to open in a new window
Dashboard > Links > Edit / Add new >
Advanced settings > Target (check the blank option) -
If you’re talking about links in your posts, and if you’re using the link button to create them, you select “Open link in a new window” from the Target dropdown.
To correct links already inserted in your posts, switch your editor to HTML and change this:
<a href="URL HERE">TEXT HERE</a>
to this:
<a href="URL HERE" target="_blank">TEXT HERE</a> -
Thanks you guys, that helps a lot! But is there any way I can simply set ALL my links to open to a separate tab?

No. The method we have is before you. There is no way to universally set them all on a wordpress.com blog.
