  I have a site page (Authors) with over 2200 internal links to posts on the site. Every month I add another 20 links.
  The page has been getting slower, and finally stopped responding. Rescued it by splitting it half, but that’s only a temporary fix, and requires updating about 1100 links on posts back to the split-off half. Is there a maximum number of supported internal links?
  Any suggestions for alternate ways to cross reference the posts’ contents (poems) to the list of authors?

  Hi there,

  Although there isn’t necessarily a hard limit on the number of links you can add to a page, the performance will be affected as it grows longer and longer.

  Are these links also referenced in your blog posts? If so, I’m just wondering if having separate pages with the links might be redundant.

  If you need to keep all the author links on two or a few pages, we can try to help find some workarounds.
