Links removed in category pages

My category pages show a truncated intro to each post in that category. That’s fine, except that all the hyperlinks are removed in the intros. Therefore, if the post has a link saying “click here” somewhere in the beginning of the text, the link will be non-functional for users on the category page view. Is this standard? Or is it just me? Any idea how to either 1) bring the links back or 2) get rid of the intro text on category pages so that users have to read the full post (which does include links).

I’m using DIGG3 theme and have CSS-editing privliges. Website is http://stpaulslansing.org

    Thanks for your help!

Digg3 displays only part of each post in categories/archives pages, and yes, links and pictures are disables.

Digg3 will display a custom excerpts in categories pages or archives pages. Edit each post, and in HTML editor, copy the part of the post you want to show, with links and pictures. Paste that into the “excerpt module.” Save or update.
