'Links' sub-menu missing from WordPress menu (WordPress 4.6)

On a stand-alone website I am in the process of setting up, the whole ‘Links’ sub-menu is missing from the WordPress menu, so that I am not able to set up a blog roll. The site is running WordPress 4.6.
Any help solving this mystery (and getting the links sub-menu back) would be very much appreciated.

Not sure why the post automatically added “The blog I need help with is immigrationtranslationcenter.com”. After all, that’s not the case. Rather, the site in question is translationforimmigration.com.

Sorry, this forum is set up for sites hosted at running WordPress.com and using this version of WordPress. It differs from the version of WordPress used by WordPress sites hosted elsewhere.
