links to avoid self-pingbacks don't work for email followers.

    I was contacted by an email follower who noticed that the links to content on my blog…which I set up as instructed on your help page to avoid pingbacks…don’t work from the email. External links work fine, but links to my content send the user to an unknown page.

    Is there any way to fix this?

    At this time, there is not. The relative links suggested only work within the blog, they aren’t valid links outside of it (in emails, for example).

    In this case, it might just be better to keep the pingbacks (as they show relationships between posts) or manually delete them.
