Links to child pages don't show on parent pages

    I have a page About that has child pages Goals and Expectations. I would like the links to show on the left when viewing page About.

    I’m building a WordPress.com site, and I’m using the Academia theme.

    I’ve tried changing the template of page About to “sidebar left” but that didn’t help.

    I do see all of the links on the front page of the site, incidentally, just not on other parent pages.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
