  When I add an item to my blog ie a pair of shoes instead of writing just the general website it comes from I would like to add a hidden link to the item as shown below, when you click here it would take you to the link.

  Hi there – You can do this using the link button. Just highlight the text you want to be the link and paste the URL it should link to into the pop-up box:
