Links to my page or posts for outsiders to use

  How do I provide a link to a non-blogger to share an individual page or post? (I tried to copy the http:// etc – but it takes me to version I see and can edit. Others found the link blocked.)

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You can’t. You have set your blog as Private, and that means it can’t be shared to anyone except the people with WordPress.com accounts who have accepted an official Invitation http://cyntickell.wordpress.com/

  If you want to share it with people, set it to Public.

  Also, once I do make it public, can I simply copy from the address bar and put http:// in front of it to share the link to that post? I tried logging out and doing it – but it just brought me back to the page, logged in as me with editing rights.

  Dashboard->Settings->Reading. And yes, copy from the address bar. The reason you keep getting logged in is your computer is saving your login information.
