links to pdf file on the internet

    Hi, I need help with regards to posting a link to a pdf file that is located on the internet. I am posting about a paper that I wrote, and I want people to be able to directly download the paper via going to the site from my blog.

    But for some reason, every time I try to “link” the file on my page by highlighting the text and choosing the “hyperlink” icon, then when I click on “update”, it directs me to the “posts” page.

    So can you post a link to a pdf file? For example:
    http://homes.chass.utoronto.ca/~cla-acl/actes2008/CLA2008_VanderKlok.pdf

    There are still some issues with linking for some browsers after the upgrade done here a few weeks back. Switch to the HTML tab in the editor and make your link there. That seems to work for all browsers right now.
