links to WordPress blogs elicit error message
-
I had this blog: susanjcunningham.wordpress.com but because I owned the domain name http://www.susanjcunningham.com, so, following WordPress instructions, I upgraded so that the old one would look like: susanjcunningham.com
Now links to either URL just elicit the following message:
Site Temporarily Unavailable
We apologize for the inconvenience. Please contact the webmaster/ tech support immediately to have them rectify this.

http://susanjcunningham.com/ maps properly to http://susanjcunningham.wordpress.com/ on my end. Could you check if it might be a browser issue? If it’s not, it might be due propagation times, i.e. it can take domain changes up to 72 hours (though usually much less) to propagate to your ISP. Unfortunately, we have no control over this as it all depends on how often your ISP refreshes their DNS cache.

Thanks for your rapid response!
It now works with Firefox but not Chrome. Since it’s been more than 24 hours but less than 72, I’ll be patient. I’m not in a very advanced country so I guess it could take awhile for the ISP to catch up.
Regards.
