  Hi there – I’ve moved this out of the CSS Customization forum since this isn’t a CSS question.

  Normally links can be added to images by selecting the image in the editor and adding a link in the URL field, as you see here:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/images/image-settings/#attachment-details

  If you’re referring to an image in an image gallery, by default WordPress does not allow linking to an external URL, but there are plugins that do let you accomplish that. I haven’t tried any, but here is one you might want to experiment with:

  https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-gallery-custom-links/

  Feel free to link me to an example of your “circle image” if you’re not sure, so I can take a look directly.
