Links Widget displays random number, not the word Links
-
I just added one link to my “links” widget, and it automatically made itself a category ‘1356’ at the same time gave the Blogroll the title ‘1356’ and can’t seem to change it. If anyone could help, appreciate it.

What kind of link was it? An ordinary blog link? Perhaps you should provide your blog url, so that the moderators can take a look…

hi, it’s a link to a website. I’ve done it quite a few times on my other wordpress blog without a problem: Heres the url.

can you assign the link to another category? The blogroll title in your sidebar is actually the category title (Tarski splits the blogroll links automatically by category).

Ok, judyb, I’m not understanding this. The # 1356 is showing, under manage>categories as the category, and what I named it but I didn’t try to create a category. I guess, why would it do that? How do I create a widget that says ‘Links’ at the top, and doesn’t create nonsensical numerical categories/titles for me?
