Links widget won’t load on one of my blogs
-
I’ve been trying for two days to add the links widget to one of my blogs but everytime I drag it and drop it into the main sidebar box, it just disappears. That happened before with the image widget on one of my other blogs but it eventually let me add it. This time though, nothing seems to be working. I’ve also tried adding other widgets to the same blog, in both the main sidebar and the footer and I even went to one of my other blogs to see if I could add another widget. No luck though, for some reason WordPress isn’t letting me add widgets on any of them. Any idea what’s wrong? I’m using the same theme, Tarski, on all of the blogs and with the exception of that one time I’ve always been able to add multiple widgets in the past. Any suggestions and pointers will be appreciated.

What browser and browser version are you using?
Have you tried logging out of wordpress, clear your browser cache and cookies, restart your browser and then try again?
Have you tried a different browser?
Last resort, on the widgets page, click “screen options” at top right and select accessibility mode and then an “add” link will appear in the available widgets which you can click to add the widget to the sidebar.

Thanks so much. I haven’t tried that but I will. Thanks also for clearing up the “screen options” thing. I saw that on the widget support page but I tried clicking on it on the dashboard and on there you get entirely different options.
I really appreciate your help. Wish me luck!
