Links won’t show as BLUE
-
Whenever I put a link in my post, it shows up as black font instead of blue as they should. I’ve tried changing the color code HTML but it still won’t work. Why not?

This is coded into the CSS-that is the style of the theme. It cannot be changed unless you know CSS and buy the CSS upgrade to change it. There are a few things you can do with HTML and links like Underline or Bold if they are not showing up as much as you would like but color changes are not possible in my experience, without the CSS changes.

You need to change the color code inside the ‘‘ tags,
i.e. ‘<font color=”blue”>…</font>‘ -

Thanks for that husdal.
It needs to be done for every link and doesn’t apply globally to the whole site. -
Link behaviors are different depending on your theme. On the theme you are using, the link text in the body of a post is underlined and when you hover your mouse over it turns blue and the underline disappears. The link behavior in your theme’s tags and sidebar is different.
Like bazaarofdreams said, if you want your links to stand out a bit more, try bolding the link text. Certainly easier than making all the links blue, which you could probably do in the Visual Editor.
