Links won't stay with relevant words

  Every since I downloaded IE9, which WP kept asking me to do, I can’t add links to the text of my blog posts. They just plonk themselves at the beginning of the post, without attaching themselves to the relevant word, as per normal.

  I’ve deleted my cookies and browser history, and updated Flash. I am on IE9. WIFI connection, Vista.

  Any suggestions?

  Thanks, works fine in Safari, but I prefer IE.

  You didn’t have to do what WP kept asking you to do: that message recommends the latest version available, which isn’t always the best version for your system. And you can even stop the message from showing: Dashboard > Home > Screen Options: uncheck “Your browser is out of date!”.

  But IE is a browser that continues to ignore various web standards: stick with it if you like having problems.
