linky

I’m participating in a blog hop. I’m trying to use a linky link, but I’m not putting the html coding in properly. How do I do this? I don’t know coding. I’m sure it is something quite simple I’m not doing properly.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
I’m not familiar with how Linky works, but I suspect that it requires a type of code that we do not allow here at WordPress.com. If you are pasting code into a page, post, or widget, and it is disappearing when you save it, it is because our system is stripping it from your site for the sake of security.
We cannot vet all 3rd party code, and therefore, we cannot allow it on our servers.
Sorry about that…if I’m not understanding correctly, you are welcome to paste your code into a response here and I can confirm whether or not it is usable on a WordPress.com site.
Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks very much.

Thanks. I did find a way by simply cutting and pasting from someone else’s blog who used the link. So it can be done, there is a workaround. Thanks. Very much appreciate your assistance.

Aha! Very tricky, and smart :) Nicely done.
I suspect the code was html, then. That can indeed be added to WordPress.com sites, as it isn’t a security risk.
Thanks so much for following up with us! Wishing you the best.

So, now why are the comments not showing up on my latest post? It’s a blog hop, based on comments to choose the winner.

Hey there!
Your comments seem to be working fine on your latest post:
Comments are only visible on individual blog post pages…not on your home page. I’m wonder if that is where you may have been looking originally?
I hope this helps! If you have any other concerns, drop me a note. Thanks much!
