  I want to create a Linky widget. I’ve got the code, but I can’t find to put it to create the widget.
  I’m using the Chateau theme, and running basic WordPress

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I know what you are referring to and we cannot use that JavaScript widget on a free hosted WordPress.com blog due to code restrictions > http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/ There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.com blogs and we cannot install any plugins. There are no back-linking scheme widgets of that nature supplied by WordPress.com.
