I have encountered much difficulties before I could bring up a blog like SUBURL.WORDPRESS.COM.
I felt there should be a platform where we could drop our blog for listing. It’ll be pretty nice, seriously.
Just visit the site now and drop your blog deatail. For the world.Although, it’s new but at least, a drop of water make a mighty ocean. It could start from you.

They won’t kill blogs. They killed the Showcase and Off-Topic forums. You should be safe, unless you’re charging for listing or something.

When you tag/categorize posts published on WordPress.com blogs, they’ll appear in Topics, which you can find in the Reader tab on the WordPress.com home page.
