List Items in Sidebar

  Hi there!

  I have kind of a specific thing that I want to do & I’m having probs with it.

  On the sidebar of my blog, there are various list items that show up with square “bullet points” next to them. I’d like to change these to musical notes. I tried going into my CSS and adding the following:

  .sidebar ul li {
  list-style-type:none;
  list-style-image:url(‘http://letthemreadvinyl.files.wordpress.com/2011/04/musical_note_icon.jpg’);
  margin-bottom:25px;
  }

  But unfortunately that added musical notes next to everything — i.e. it added them next to the headers that say “file under easy listening”, “search and destroy”, “topical”, etc. It even added musical notes next to the twitter and facebook badges.

  I only want the musical note image to appear wherever there are currently those square bullets. Is this possible? I figure since the square bullets show up only in certain places, theoretically I should be able to replace them with the musical note image in only those same specific places.

  Hope that makes sense! Let me know if anyone has any suggestions/insight.
