List of plugins used in WordPress.com?

Is there a list of plugins used in WordPress.com? This would be very useful because WP.org plugins are legion and it’s difficult to decide which is best among several that seem to do the same thing. So the list would be helpful for those of us who would like to host their own WP.org blog as well as happily blog on WPcom.

Hi. To my knowledge, there is no list, but there is Jetpack, a kit for WordPress.ORG users which includes some of the tools that come with WordPress.COM.

While I haven’t seen a full list anywhere, have a look at Jetpack.me That is also not a full list, as it doesn’t include Akismet, Polldaddy, Videopress and optionally Zemanta

Okay, many thanks for the jepack link which gives me an idea of some useful plugins (and some superfluous ones, depending on how you feel about some services).

Any ideas for getting Calendar (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/calendar/faq/) into a wrordpress.com blog – or any Calendar that shows events not just posts?
If not can anyone suggest an off site Calendar most suited to quick and easy linking back and forth to wp.com blog?

I just use Google Calendar in my sidebar. You can see how that works at http://raincoastermedia.com but it’s not a simple process to get it set up, to say the least.
