  how can my archive look like the following website. i.i.list of post, posted in a month in a year.

  Maybe if you had the Custom CSS upgrade you could do that. Do you know CSS?

  no i don’t abt css customization. any other option , free of cost with wordpress

  Not that I’m aware of. You could check out the different templates under Presentation: I know that engtech has evaluated many of the themes and shows good and bad points of each.

  Only way I know how to do it here is to manually create the page.

  Some of the themes have Archive page templates but that’s only for months and categories.

  The Pool theme has this option.

  i have checked pool, mistylook both the templates, but no such option there, pls. explain in details

  If you choose Pool or Misty, here’s what you need to do. On your Dashboard – > Manage -> Pages -> Create a Page (create a Page title, say “Archives”) -> Edit. While you’re in the write page, find the “Page Template” on the right sidebar and click the pull-down arrow and choose “Archives” (although there’s an option for “Default Template with or with comments”, I don’t think it will work) and hit Save. Make sure your “Archives” widget is added in your sidebar under Presentation.
