list of unavailable names

I want to have another blog here on wordpress.com for something specific but every time I choose a name for it (for the URL, I’m aware I can change the blogname at any time) I am informed that it is unavailable. What I’d like to know is this: is there a list anywhere here on WP, of names that are not available (ie, already in use and/or deleted) so that I don’t keep being disappointed. And if so, where does it live? Hope someone can help, this is driving me crazy!
I’ve tried googling names before I try to set them, but of course the ones that are not in use anymore don’t even show up.
And – if not – how about having one?

There are multi-millions of wordpress.com bloggers and many of us have more than one blog and more than one username registered under different email addresses. Blogs are deleted every day and the URLs cannot be recycled. New blogs are added every day. Username accounts are never deleted. There is no such dynamic and ever changing “list” available to members.

That’s a shame! I was hoping that there might be something like the available and deleted username lists that LiveJournal has, but if they aren’t recycled then it’s understandable why there isn’t one on WordPress.
