List only preview of posts on hompage

  Hi,

  At the moment, the full text for each of my blog posts appears on my home page. I’m wondering whether it’s possible, to just show a preview few lines of each post, so that people have to click on them to read them? Surely this must be possible, but I’ve looked everywhere for this option, to no avail!

  You can use the more tag:

  Or you can switch to a theme that displays the post beginnings by default – see here:

  Sorry, second link is wrong (refers to category pages instead of main page). The suggestion stands, but I don’t have a list; some examples: Fusion, Chateau, Inuit Types.
