list option for images in "Add media"

    I find it ridiculous that WP does not give an option to switch from thumbnail with no visible description to list when using the “Add media” button during a new post or page

    I take over 1,000 pictures on a given trip. Even after sorting through and uploading the ones I want I still find it difficult to memorize the exact picture I want to use without looking at its title. There are many cases where one might have similar pictures.

    What is the purpose of even naming a file if all you can view is a thumbnail that needs to be clicked for details?
