Listify theme and problem with WP search

  I have two problems. I have installed the Listify theme and I need to:
  – Add a custom post to the search results with Job-Manager or without it.
  – Limit search results to just title and category (not content using %like%).

  How can I do that? I tried changing code and installing different plugins but still the same results. I’m about to try creating a new search engine, but I hope is a better solution.
