Listing “all posts” under the Category

    Hi all,

It seems to me that the number of posts listed when I clicked a Category from the “menu” is based on the number I set under Setting > Reading > Blog pages show at most > #

For example; under “Tech Notes” category I have 8 posts. But my “Blog pages show at most” setting is 3. When I clicked on “Tech Notes” category, it only list 3 titles of most recent posts. How do make it to list all 8? Or whatever number that will be in the future? This is only the “title list”. I can understand if the list gets very long and we break it at every 20 counts.

Appreciate all help and advice. Thanks.

I’m sorry but we need the complete and clickable URL starting with http:// for the blog in question so we can provide an accurate answers. Please post it now.

  • Unfortunately, the “show at most” setting is sort of a master control.

If you have it set to 3 posts, everything that lists posts (including the front page, category archives, and month archives) will list a total of 3 posts.

Please let us know if you have any more questions!

Hmmm.. Okay, thank you guys. Will next update include this customization option?

  • Anything is possible, but we’ll have to wait for something like this to be put together by the core WordPress developers.
