Lithuanian validator

    Hi,

I have translated Watson theme to Lithuanian and was waiting for approval. Then I found out that usually new translations are validated in batches of 200 (at least). So I have translated more WordPress into Lithuanian in order to get Watson theme verified in Lithuanian.

How can I make the process of validation even faster?

    Hi,
There is one Lithuanian validator but he/she doesn’t seem to be active recently. I promoted you as a validator, and contacted the current validator to ask if he/she is still interested in reviewing translations.

Please check out the links listed at the top of this landing page to learn more about WordPress.com translation process.

    Thanks for your help!

I just wanted to let you know that the other user declined to stay on as a validator. You’re now the only validator for Lithuanian language.

I have approved all “waiting” Lithuanian translations but I don’t see them in the website yet. Did I do something wrong? Or maybe there is some time-lag between approving translation and making translation public?

After translations are approved, WordPress.com staff needs to deploy the changes (= send them live) before they show up. This happens once or a few times a day, depending on the amount of submitted translations. You can request us to deploy certain changes here on the forums if you wish.

Theme translations are automatically deployed once a day, if the theme is translated 85% or more.

All Lithuanian changes should be live now. Let me know if you are seeing anything odd.

Hmmm…. Something is really odd. I see that Watson theme is translated in Lithuanian and my approvals are online (in translations.wordpress.com). But in my website some Lithuanian translations are still missing. For example – “Read article” links are still in English. Here is the website http://naujasiseuroblogas.wordpress.com/

I have enabled Lithuanian language in my WP-admin settings. Any ideas how can I fix this?

It looks that translations are now live. I have found some errors, so I will edit them.

    Thanks for letting us know!
I was digging in to find out why your completed translations weren’t showing up, but it could just be because of the timing.
Theme translations are deployed once a day, after 85% completion is achieved. Maybe you added your last few translations yesterday?

Anyway, I’m glad you’re all set now. Feel free to contact us again if you have any questions.
