little round ball on header photo

  there is a round, white and blue ball on my header photo. It means nothing to me and I would like to remove or replace it. what is it called? how do I change it?

  Wait!! It changed! I applied something called a Gravatar. Don’t know for sure what that was all about, but it now is the camino symbol. So – ready to publish!!
