Does wordpress allow iframes to be embedded in a post? Wanting to do a live blog using http://www.coveritlive.com

Yeah – I’ve been an advocate for WordPress and CoverItLive getting together for a while. It’s not quite the same as using it on your site directly but it’s a good alternative.

That’s what I’m going to have to do, vivian. But I would like to see us not have to go that route.
Thanks

Hi Vivian,
I made an image of the CoverItLive Screen of my live blogging from their site, and then linked the image on my post so that it went directly to my live blogging (in this particular case, live blogging during the Democratic Convention in Denver). Perhaps this might be of some help for people who are interested in doing some of their own live blogging. It looked like this:
A Critical Moment: Barack Obama Accepts the Historic Presidential Nomination
Best wishes.

Hmmm. I played around with this a bit and I think my po-up blocker prevented the cover it live window from showing. If I were to have my wordpress blog hosted by a 3rd party, would that avoid the security issue that prevents me from using iframes?

If you chose to use the self hosted version of wordpress,
then yes you can use iframes, Java Script, flash, but the
pop-up blocker is a setting in your browser. & would still
continue to block en till you changed the settings.
