Hi Darnell,
I have a blog that I use to document a travel adventure. I was reviewing it the other day and some of the photos on my early posts have disappeard. There is an icon there but if I click on it I get an error message. How canI restore these photos? -
Hey there,
Can you provide me the URL to one of the posts with the missing pictures? The few early posts I looked through had pictures intact.
Thanks!

I can’t figure out how to find the URL for that post. There was a comment posted to the one on May 2, 2014 that has 75.192.204.182 under it.
It is the posts starting in May of 2014 that are missing the pictures. there is just the jpg icon. -
AH, I see it now.
Unfortunately, rhondavouxwithuscom.fatcow.com is not hosted at WordPress.com. As such, we are unable to provide any direct assistance in this manner.
The fact that the site may have been built using WordPress, or may mention ‘Powered by WordPress’ (or something similar) simply means it is using the WordPress.org software, which can be downloaded and installed on any web host.
If you’re interested, you can learn more about the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org here:
I would recommend getting in touch with your host or domain registrar for support, or checking out these resources if your site was indeed built with WordPress software:

OK thanks for your time. Unfortunately I have not been able to figure out how to get support from them but I will keep working on it.

Do you see the image in your media library still? If so, try re-inserting the image back into the post. Or re-upload it if you still have it.
