  If you have a WordPressdotcom upgrade plan you are also eligible for assistance from Staff by live chat or email when you post through the dashboard at https://wordpress.com/help/contact

  Since it appears that you have done that but your request was none-the-less routed to the forums, make sure that you are logged in with the account that purchased the upgrade plan before using the contact form.

  Thank you! I think I have an old login that is different and that may explain it all. I wish I could merge it.
