    I created a website. I am a newby. I got an email about a sale to upgrade, I did. Don’t think I got any 30% discount.

    I thought I was upgrading the website I created to have a domain. It looks like I got a new domain alright, but it looks like I have paid for a new website. I see three separate charges.

    I am not very good at this one finger texting thing. I think it would more productive to actually talk to a person. Have no idea how to call support.

    Looking at your account I can see that you have a personal plan on myfamilyhistory101.com and another domain registered which is family-history-101.com.

    I’ll be able to help you get the account sorted. Keep in mind that you’re able to view all of this material any time via https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/

    family-history-101.com was purchased on March 11th. Domains are only refundable for 48 hours. Since this is done and paid for my suggestion is to just keep it. Let me know how you want to proceed. We can cancel it with out a refund if you prefer.

    myfamilyhistory101.com and the personal plan was purchased on May 12th. You paid full price for that $48. I sent a refund of 30% back to you. That could take up to 2 weeks to reach your account.

    First, thanks for your reply.
    I am typing on my cell with one finger. I am away from home until Monday, I have no wi-fi and my phone service is poor.
    I am very confused at how I purchased two domains.
    I hope I can continue with this subject when I get home.
    In the meantime, I will try to take a look at the suggestions you sent.
    Why people cannot have a verbal conversation anymore is something I am trying to accept as the new normal.

    As far as registering two domains goes, you originally purchased family-history-101.com on 2023-03-11 on the site https://familyhistory101com.wordpress.com

    Then, on 2023-05-12, you purchased the WordPress.com Personal plan on the site https://myfamilyhistory101.wordpress.com and used the free domain credit on this plan to register myfamilyhistory101.com.

    Thanks mishivee, I was having the toughest time trying to read your post. Magicrobot sent me a link to few my threads. Wow! I have a lot to learn. Anyway, thanks for pointing out the Personal Plan and Domain Credit.
