I recently began receiving the following message when I go to the Editor: The “wpcom-live-preview” plugin has encountered an error and cannot be rendered.
How do I resolve this error?

I have been getting this error as to my site in regards to the latest posts displayed. Hopefully support can provide assistance with this issue.

I’ve come up with a temporary solution, at least for my issue. I was having the problem of displaying latest posts, as stated in my original comment. I found that choosing specific posts under “display settings” in the settings block, in the editor. This was just for my current situation. Hope this helps, if not, I hope this gets resolved for everyone.

Same here although it hasn’t stopped me from using editor and everything does look to be rendered.

Same problem. I cannot edit the BLOCK type …it stays in all caps. I deleted the BLOCK and retried several times, I duplicated a previous BLOCK and tried to continue to edit it with new information, I rebooted, but nothing seems to work. I tried to find the PLUGIN to see if it needed a refresh/update but I could NOT find it in my dashboard or home page. I still get the error message:

Hi!
Does anyone have a solution to the problem? The same message appears when I try to edit any pages. I have problems with images not displaying after this message came. -
I’ve also had this problem as of January 2024. Does anyone know of a solution please? :)

Does anyone from WordPress actually read this site?
We seem to have a problem here which is very recent and experienced by a cross-section of users – it’s obviously a software problem on the server or the WordPress site – yet no answers are forthcoming. Have you all failed to return after the Christmas/New Year break , do you just not care – or are you as stumped by this as we all are?
What are we paying for? This absence of customer support is alarming

Hi again, thanks for your patience everyone!
The root issue that caused this has been fixed, though we discovered a caching problem that prevented the fix from propagating to all sites. Our developers are working to merge a fix for that caching problem as soon as possible, which should clear it up for you.
In the meantime, if you refresh the cache in your browser now, that should remove the warning. We have guides for how to do that for most common browsers here: https://wordpress.com/support/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache
