Live Preview Not Working

When I go in to Live Preview to customize my site, it is a blank page. I have tried switching out the theme and that doesn’t work either, nor does trying different computers or browsers. I have used two different (Mac) computers now, on three browsers – all show the same blank live preview. Even when I change out the theme, it doesn’t seem to affect the actual published theme, which remains the same.

http://www.travelguidetotheotherside.com/ is a self-hosted WordPress.org blog, which we really can’t help with.
To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities.
WordPress.org has complete support and documentation sites for self-hosted/installed versions of WordPress via their Codex and Support Forums.

Dear Macmanx,
Wouldn’t it make sense to rename one of the entities something different? Whenever I look for help re: wordpress.com, I end up on sites giving .org help. You seem to have merged them in various places. It’s so confusing and frustrating to use. -
I have the same problem as travelguidetotheother side. Since getting a new computer that uses Windows7, I get a blank screen when I try Live Preview. I had my page partway put together, but now I can’t get anywhere. I have wasted 2 days searching forums on this. I have enabled cookies, cleared the cache, to no avail. I am about to bail out and switch to WordPress, unless someone can help me on this.

Sorry, that last should have read that I’m ready to switch to blogspot, if this doesn’t get any less frustrating.

I have tried mozilla firefox and IE. I have tried it on a friend’s computer, using mozilla, also running windows7.
URL is ellengrubergarvey.com As far as I understand it, from what happens when I log on as admin, and from what Bluehost told me (they actually have live people to talk with), I am using wordpress.com site. -
This site http://www.ellengrubergarvey.com/ is not a free hosted wordpress.com blog. It is is a self-hosted WordPress.org site, which we can’t help with as we provide support here only for blogs being hosted by wordpress.com You must post to http://wordpress.org/support/

Macmanx and timethief — If you can’t reply here, since you seem to work for wordpress, can you ask someone to reply to my post on the wordpress.org forum? What makes you think I’m not on wordpress.com? I didn’t set out to get a more complicated setup — I wanted it to be as easy to use as possible, and I simply followed the signup information as I saw it.
It seems counterintuitive that you seem to be offering more support for the free site than one I’ve paid for a domain on. Also note that half of the dashboard stuff when I log in as admin refers to wordpress.com, so it’s reasonable to think that that’s where I’m working. -
http://www.ellengrubergarvey.com/ is not a WordPress.com blog and we can’t help you at all with it. It doesn’t matter what’s on your dashboard; that just aggregates info for both types of WP.
We also have no pull at WordPress.org.
If you want it to be as easy as possible, then get a free blog here, pay the $13 a year to use your custom domain with it, and stop paying for hosting on the other site.
