Live site not the same as Pages > Home – Front Page using Elementor

    Hello~!!

    I’m re-branding a wp site for a client. We were unable to start with a “clean” site as their current website is still live. Our client recently upgraded to Elementor pro. We will be working on the site in a staging environment, but are currently having troubles getting a Under Maintenance. We’ve applied a kit from elementor but things aren’t syncing up (we have now uninstalled the kit)

    Issues:
    1. the Pages > Home – Front Page edit with Elementor does not look the same as the live site
    2. Maintenance Mode (in Eleementor) is activated but the site is still live
    3. any edits we do on the Home page do not reflect on the live site

    Troubleshooting:
    1. toggle off all plugins (except elemenator)
    2. uninstall kit
    3. create new template for Maintence Mode in elementor
    4. update all plugins
    5. cry a little bit (lol)


    ACTION: update Pages > Home – Front Page using Elementor
    EXPECTED: live page reflects changes
    ACTUAL: live page doesn’t look anything like the Front Page

    We can’t help with third party plugins as Elementor. You must contact Elementor support. Also as a developer, never start doing things without a in-depth knowledge of what you are doing or the system you are working on.

    Thanks! I was also troubleshooting with Elementor and have figured out what was misfiring.
