Live space migration, incomplete image migration
-
Hi, I just migrated from Live Space.
The process is most smooth, but I found only a small portion of the images are migrated to wordpress.com, most of the pictures are not imported, and in my blog posts they still refer to the live space address, like http://xkvv3q.blu.livefilestore.com/…
Is there any way to automatically re-import the album from live space?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

@adam, I’ve tagged this thread for staff attention, but if they don’t respond here in a short while, contact them directly at http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/ .

Any images that did not transfer, that were in posts, they can recover for you. If you are talking about your photo albums, those will not transfer, but will stay on Live. The photo albums are on a different system and are not getting the boot.

@laacuariana78, perhaps it would be better if you posted in the Espanol forums.

Thanks, thesacredpath. I figured I would just re-upload them myself.
Luckily I am not a big blogger, with some 30 images, it is doable by hand.
Now I am mostly done.I noticed the images that did not automatically transfer are all in posts 2+ years old, and they seems to be generated by earlier versions of live writers. Perhaps this info can be of use, if they decide to fix the problem.

how do I see my photo albums on Live. Since I upgraded I’m sent to wordpress where they didn’t upload my albums.

Your photos albums are still at live.com and will remain so. MS is not shutting that part of things down.

Just my migrated my site. I’m annoyed, spaces was excellent for embedding photo slide shows and such, all of that has gone and the redirection back to live does NOT redirect to the photo albums! Plus, I have lost nice active widgets, such as weather, moon phases and tide information, all I’ve got is RRS Feeds…great, nice one…NOT

@sussexbass your gripe is with Microsoft not WordPress. If you don’t like WordPress you are now free to export your blog and move anywhere you want – that is more options than M/S gave you.
