Live Streaming

  The post would like to be able to live stream meetings and events so that members who are not able to leave home or are in hospice care can still view the meetings and events in real time. Adding a Live Streaming plugin like the one offered by S3Bubble would be extremely helpful. I’ll take anything that is easy to set up and has a reasonable fee.

  I wonder if WP would come to do this as there are already 3rd party options out there that you could link to. GotoMeeting or even YouTube can live stream and you can easily link people to it.

  The premium service lets you play videos but we want to do that live. Keeping in mind that a. I want to drive traffic to my site. B. I want to keep them on the site. C. I don’t want them to have to load additional software or plugins. My audience will click a link to see the meeting but they’re not going to do much more than that. And I don’t have time to answer support calls for goto meeting questions. Lastly this is supported on FB at no cost as part of their standard offering so I’m asking WordPress my service provider for something I think is reasonable and in demand since I cannot upload plugins as long as I’m using their service. Not a bad suggestion that your making but it really doesn’t address my issue.
