Live Video option

Does WordPress still support the embedding of Live Video id’s? We can’t seem to get this function to work properly and have read the Help Sections on the topic.
Thanks.

I don’t remember that Live Video was supported here at wordpress.com. First I’ve heard about it.
-
Here’s the info we came across in the FAQ section. But it doesn’t seem to work…
-
If the instructions don’t work for you then perhaps you can explain exactly what you did and at what point things went wrong.
-
Hmm, first I’ve seen of it.
Can you point us to a post where it’s not working please? That way we can see what is occuring.
-
We don’t have a post online at the moment as we were experimenting with the feature and did not want to leave a non-working post online.
We went to New Post > added the following code:
[livevideo id=514C1EBB254449A4A421EEAEA24220A7]After publishing the post it does not appear as an embedded file. It simply displays the code as text?

Actually, those kinds of posts should work with the visual editor as well. That’s all I use! But maybe it’s browser-specific. The only other thing I can think of is that there might be a digit missing from the ID number?

We’ve tried both the visual editor and the code editor to no avail.
With regard to the ID, it doesn’t seem to work on any code we enter. We even tried the code WordPress uses in the FAQ link and can’t get it to come up.We did notice that when you are creating a post, and down at the bottom when you click on Video options, Live Video is no longer an option. Only Google, You Tube, and DailyMotion:
Paste your YouTube or Google Video URL above, or use the examples below.

Ahhh … well it seems then that it’s feedback time for you after the weekend is over. These new options are “beta” and it sometimes takes some work to get them running properly.

Amazing! We played around with the code some more, mainly by entering the code on multiple lines. The video player showed up! We deleted the first entry and now it works fine. Thanks for listening and the feedback….
