Load More Posts and the Back Button

    My blog was just updated automatically to use the “Load More Posts” button, and I’ve noticed that when you click on an article and then back out, only the first set of posts re-load. This is an issue for readers. Can this be fixed?

    That’s one of the defects of the so-called “infinite scrolling” feature. Clicking “Older Posts” takes you to page 2, page 3 etc of your posts, but clicking “Load More Posts” fetches older posts via a javascript plugin: technically you’re still on page 1, so if you click on an article then back out you’re back to page 1 again. The only thing you can do is get rid of the feature via CSS editing.
