Loaded new post, but it’s not opening on page

  Hello, I have uploaded a new file to my site. When I view the post it shows an option to download, but does not show the contents of the file automatically (as all previous posts have done). Have I uploaded differently or has somethign changed? Thanks!

  Thanks. It’s “May 2021 to July 2021” on my newspaper page.

  Hello there,

  Many thanks for that extra information.

  I see you were using a file embed, where as in the other posts a link embed was being used instead.

  I’ve swapped the blocks being used in the post, so that the file shows.

  This has actually flagged a known issue we’re working on, which is that the preview of file doesn’t show.

  Going forward, I would recommend to use the embed block: https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/embed-block/
