What do I do ?
My problems:
1. I started a blog and want to be able to take advantage of wp’s Adwords. I bought a domain on godaddy (of course their official site’s how to video is outdated for how to connect a wp site USING THEIR PLATFORM!?)So, do I delete my domain on godaddy and use the ‘free domain’ option when I signup for WP business/premium plans? Or do I try and set all that up myself using bluehost?
2.
I am stuck between using bluehost and signing up with WP (I know) . My issues are that I want instant access to AdWords versus applying for Adwords and getting accepted. I am a little gun-shy after my albeit newbie attempt at setting up google Adsense on my Wix site (I knowww).
3. Site design
I am so new to WP but my experience has been aggravating because I am not a web designer by trade. Godaddy offers wp design services but I am not really digging godaddy besides using it for buying a domain name. Should I keep trying or does WP.com offer secure design services (I am not about stuff like Fiverr.com for this type of work.)Thanks for your input!

Hello there, welcome to WordPress.com! I’ll try my best to answer your questions and since the modlook tag is added previously, a staff might jump in to help to add in any missing information if required.
(1) If I understand correctly, you have a domain purchased on GoDaddy and you’re considering whether you want to connect the domain to WordPress.com or host it on Bluehost.
Option 1: You’re able to map the domain you owned at GoDaddy to any paid WordPress.com plans.
About Domain Mapping:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/To see the differences among the plans:
To know the available pricing options:
https://wordpress.com/pricing/Option 2: Host your site at Bluehost using the open source WordPress.org software, your domain remain registered at GoDaddy. For this option, you need to check with your web hosting provider if they provide any convenience in installing WordPress. Else, you’ll need to install it on your own using the famous 5-Minute Installation (https://codex.wordpress.org/Installing_WordPress#Famous_5-Minute_Installation).
Differences between WordPress.com and self-hosted WordPress:
(2) WordPress.com do have a WordAds program that features ads from Google, Facebook, AOL, and more. If you have Premium or Business upgrades, you’ll automatically have access to the WordAds program. For WordPress.com account that is not on Premium or Business plan, you’ll need certain traffic and appropriate content on your site to apply for the program.
To learn more about WordAds:
(3) If you’re totally new to WordPress.com and self-hosted WordPress, I would personally suggest that you create a free site on WordPress.com, play around with the user interface/Dashboard and learn more on the features of this powerful platform using the documentation and if you have questions, you may seek help from members and staff on this forum (for WordPress.com questions only).
As a start, you may check out the article below to get you started.
https://en.support.wordpress.com/start/And if you have questions on self-hosted WordPress, you may head over to https://wordpress.org/support/ to register an account and start asking questions.
Please let us know if you have more questions, we’ll be glad to help.

Hi historyaddicted236805825,
So, do I delete my domain on godaddy
Cancelling a domain means you give up ownership, so it’s not something we recommend doing if it will be needed in the future — there is no guarantee you will get it back again. Don’t delete the domain as there are options for using an existing domain on WordPress.com.
staff-zara mentioned WordPress.com and WordPress.org. They are slightly different so I recommend reading through our support documentation before you make a final decision:
Which option do you think would be more suitable based on your plans? I’ll be happy to answer any questions you have.
My issues are that I want instant access to AdWords versus applying for Adwords
The WordPress.com Premium and Business plans include automatic access to the WordAds program.
If you decided to use WordPress.org instead, Jetpack Premium and Professional plans include automatic access to Jetpack Ads (powered by WordAds).
Just let me know whether you would like to use WordPress.com or not, and I can send some more information.
