Loading an audio file in .wav or .mp3

  I’m trying to add media and am not allowed to do so. I have attempted to load the same file as mp3 and as wav and the site will not accept it. (Error KPFT.wav This file type is not allowed. Please try another. ) Any suggestions?

  Hi there,

  Are you certain that the file is an actual mp3 file? If it’s something else and you simply changed the file extension to mp3 or wav, then it won’t work. What kind of file was it originally? You can use programs such as Audacity to convert any audio file to mp3 or wav.

  I have it saved as an mp3 and as a wav file. I used Pro Tools for the conversion.
