Loading Apostrophe 2 Demo Homepage

    I added a new site to an existing account, during which process I was forced to select a homepage layout. When I tried to switch to the Apostrophe 2 theme, it kept that layout, rather than switching to the layout of the Apostrophe 2 theme. Now I do not know how to configure my homepage to match the theme demo. Please help!

    Hi! For Apostrophe 2, you’ll actually want to go ahead and use this setup guide:
    https://wordpress.com/theme/apostrophe-2

    Basically you need to:
    – Publish several posts with featured images
    – Set the front page to show posts
    – Feature a few posts (the guide page has more info on this)

    These older themes have just a few setup steps, then you’ll be good to go. Let us know if you need more help!

    Thank you so much for this helpful information; I actually figured out what I was doing wrong shortly after I posted this. I had to go to Homepage Settings –> Show Recent Posts, rather than use a static home page.

    I had to also then make sure the “Home” link in my header menu was pointing to this new, dynamic page rather than the original, pre-loaded static Home page.
