Loading new theme and sub domain

    Hello,

    Our website (bonusdownsfarmstay.com.au) is hosted with you on the free plan and our domain is with Crazy Domains.

    We have set up a sub domain with Crazy Domains where we are building a new website which will be hosted with them but the theme will not upload.

    They have told me that the theme needs to be uploaded via your site – how can I do this on the free plan?

    Hi @rustyw12 – On WordPress.com all of the available themes for you to use are found here: http://wordpress.com/themes/ You will not be able to upload a theme to your WordPress.com site.

    Self hosted sites, using WordPress.org, are able to install outside themes. For more information on that go to http://wordpress.org/

    Hello there,

    lizkarkoski is right- you don’t need to upload a theme for any sites hosted here at WordPress.com, however if you use a self-hosted site powered by WordPress.org, you will need to get a theme to upload and install.
