Help! The header photo got changed on my website to one i don’t like, (not sure how, maybe automatically when it was updated?). I logged in to wordpress to try to modify it or choose a new theme but it’s loading a very old and incomplete version of my website (with several pages missing, for example). What should i do? Thanks in advance for any input!

    Hi there,

The only sites I see on your @testercounselor WordPress.com account when I check on our end are listed here:

    – testercounselorblog.wordpress.com

According to our activity logs this is a site that has not been in use for several years, and I can also confirm that your @testercounselor account on WordPress.com also has not been active for several years.

Is it possible you may be referring to a site you created under a different login that we are not able to see?  What is the URL of the site you are needing help with?

Happy to check in our system so we can take a closer look.

    Hi there,

Thanks for your reply. You’re right that I’m accessing this testercounsellor one, but the one I’m wanting to access is http://www.emilypick.com

So does that mean I have another login that I can’t remember that would get me to this site?

    Thanks for your help,
    Emily

Hi Emily, it would indeed be a separate account, and a separate host too.

Are you using emilypick.com/wp-admin to log in?

If that isn’t working and you can’t reset your password, your host may be able to help you make backups and use one of these recovery options:
    https://wordpress.org/support/article/resetting-your-password/

Then, if you need more help, head to the forums for self-hosted sites at https://wordpress.org/support , since these forums are for the free sites hosted here at WordPress.com. Here’s the difference between our services and your installation of WordPress with another host:
