Loading sound files into blog

  I’m trying to import a sound file using SoundCloud, I get to the point where I am supposed to see options under “other options” after clicking embed. I only get auto play and then all the options on the page are greyed out. So I’m stuck.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi Louise,

  It looks like SoundCloud changed the layout for their embed options. After you click embed, you should see a section titled “Code & preview.” Under that title, you’ll see some code and, next to it, a box labelled “WordPress code.” Here’s what that looks like: https://cloudup.com/cRRxkuyaXDC

  You can click the “WordPress code” box, and the code to the left will change to the embed code you need here at WordPress.com. You can copy that and paste it into the post or page on your site.

  Thanks, I’ll give that a try. But before I do, is there a size limit? I didn’t realize until I started loading it, but I think it’s about 120 mb.

  Hi Louise,

  I looked into the SoundCloud upload limit and it looks like its 5GB, so you should be fine!
