Loading speed and site performance of an online store

    i am a technician from AA TANCH HOLDING COMPANY in
    Tanzania. Am writing to request for technical assistance concerning the performance of our
    online store called SOKOKUU ONLINE that we made using the WordPress CMS and E-
    commerce platform known as Woo-commerce.
    SOKOKUU ONLINE is an E-commerce retailer platform of AA TANCH HOLDING
    COMPANY LTD serving buyers from all over east Africa. At this platform people can access
    variety of suppliers and purchase goods with convenient digital payments.
    The store is based upon multi-vendor functionality. To achieve this, we are using a plugin called
    DOCAN, and the template that we use is called E-market. We also import products from variety
    of suppliers from Alibaba platform and others. At first the performance of the site especially the
    Loading speed was very fast, but as we proceeded adding products to the site it became very
    slow.
    Currently the site has about two thousand and four hundred products, the performance of the site
    isn’t so good and I have tried optimizing several images that appeared to have a large size, and
    deactivating the unused plugins but the results are still not good and the site takes long time to
    load. If I may ask does the number of products kept on the woo commerce affect the
    performance of the site?
    The site takes a very long time to load, we tried using different hosting companies, currently our
    hosting provider is A2 HOSTING. The site takes about a minute and a half to load, what could
    possibly be the cause of the problem, and what are the solutions for it? I really need a technical
    assistance concerning the performance of the site.

    Hello there,

    It looks like your site is being hosted at another company which means that it’s not running the WordPress.com platform but its using the open-source WordPress.org platform. Since the platforms are different you should ask for help at their support forums:
