Localized ToS

  It would be good to have localized, i.e. Russian version of ToS. I realize that only English version is legal but many people actually may not understand it because they don’t know English.

  Could the localized ToS be placed at localized support site (e.g. http://ru.support.wordpress.com/tos)? Should it be translated and sent to WordPress.com stuff?

  Thank you very much for offering to translate the TOS – it’s one long and tricky document!

  Right now, TOS translation is a bit tricky since the English version is the main one that governs all users, including non-English speakers. Ideally there would be translated versions for all locales. It’s something that is being looked into, however I can’t offer a timeline yet.

  An idea for you would be to point users who are wondering why their blogs are closed to the following page, which you can localize for the Russian support site: http://en.support.wordpress.com/affiliate-links/
